Ben Sneider will be a Counselor and Assistant Coach in our Baseball program!

BioHeadshot–BenSneiderBen will be a junior at Trinity University next year. As a native of Palo Alto, CA, Ben took his talents to San Antonio, Texas two years ago to continue his baseball career. While he’s been swinging a bat since he could walk, pitching became his true passion when he was only 10 years old.

As a three-year member of Palo Alto High School’s baseball team, Ben helped lead the team to their first section championship in school history in 2011. He was also selected to California’s All-State team in his junior and senior seasons.

Off of the diamond, Ben has been a lifelong member of Congregation Etz Chayim in his hometown of Palo Alto and became a Bar Mitzvah there in November 2007. Ben spent most of his childhood summers in various sports camps at Stanford University and at his high school alma mater, Palo Alto High School. However, he was also lucky enough to spend three summers at Camp Tawonga, a Jewish overnight camp in Yosemite Mountains.

This summer Ben plans to take what he has learned over the years and help make JCC Maccabi Sports Camp a fun and fulfilling experience for all!
