Rosie is from St Andrews, Scotland! She was born in Virginia but moved to Scotland when she was three years old. This will be her first summer at JCC Maccabi Sports Camp and she is so excited to meet the campers and help develop their skills on and off the court.
She has been playing tennis for 8 years, competing at regional level in doubles and singles. Rosie has been coaching tennis for 4 years now, 2 of those years as her job at the University of St Andrews. During this time she has undertaken a considerable amount of volunteer coaching work at the local tennis club, coaching children with ages ranging from 3-14.
As part of her general sports coaching job at St Andrews University she has also worked with 14-18 year old International students. When she returns from camp, Rosie will be studying to be a sports coach at the University of Stirling.
