Location & Facilities
The Perfect Place to Spend Summer
Welcome to camp’s new home, California State University, East Bay. The campus of this spacious university is dotted with beautiful trees and nestled up on a hill in Hayward, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. The campus is located in the Bay Area, just a short drive from each of the three major airports. It is in the middle of the action while also feeling like a distant, quiet respite perfect for an overnight camp experience.
The CSUEB campus and its state-of-the-art athletic facilities reflect the college’s strong ethic of sportsmanship and respect for the student athlete. Our campers have the privilege to train using the same facilities used by All-American athletes, including classrooms for team discussions, lane and recreational swimming pools, outdoor spaces ideal for supervised training, group activities, or just hanging out, and top-of-the-line food-service facilities. Meals are kosher-style (no pork or shellfish and separate meat and dairy meals) and include organic, gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options.
Cabin Life
Camp wouldn’t be camp without cabin life—a young athlete’s home base for friendship and support. Cal State dorms have a unique structure, allowing for each suite to serve as a cabin with 8 campers and 2-3 dedicated counselors who accompany each cabin at meals and the day’s activities, providing supervision throughout the day. Each suite has 3 camper rooms (2 triples and 1 double) plus 2 full bathrooms. Cabin make-up is determined by school grade and gender.
